A kit artefact is policy-layer and template-layer evidence: it shows the control is mandated, owned and documented — which is what most questionnaire rows ask. It is not the operating evidence (logs, tickets, screenshots) an audit samples, and it is not a certification. Answer in that register: “Mandated by our AI Use Policy §4; systems inventoried in our AI system register; record available under NDA.” Overclaiming a certification you don’t hold is the anti-pattern that turns a routine questionnaire into an on-site audit.
